ELLICOTTVILLE, NY — The Ellicottville Police Department arrested a North Tonawanda man on multiple charges following an incident in the town.
Mario Digiacomo, 30, of North Tonawanda, was charged with attempted assault on a police officer, reckless endangerment in the second degree, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree with intent to sell, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree and driving while intoxicated, first offense.
Digiacomo also faces several traffic offenses.
He was arraigned in the Town of Great Valley Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail with no bail.
Digiacomo is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicottville Court to answer to the charges.
