DOVER-FOXCROFT, ME — One person died and two others were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon.
Dover-Foxcroft police and firefighters were dispatched to the area of Dexter Road at approximately noon for a report of a serious automobile crash.
When first responders arrived, they found two vehicles had been involved in the collision.
The drivers of both vehicles sustained serious injuries.
A passenger in one of the vehicles was found to be deceased.
The names of those involved are not being released at this time as the crash remains under investigation.
The Dover-Foxcroft Police Department was assisted on scene by the Dover-Foxcroft Fire Department, the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office, the Dexter Police Department and the Maine State Police.
