SALISBURY, VT — A woman was cited for illegal burning on U.S. Route 7 on Sunday evening.
The New Haven State Police Barracks were notified of an illegal burning on U.S. Route 7 at 8:16 p.m.
Troopers arrived on scene and met with the homeowner and person of interest, Maranda L. Aunchman, 25, of Salisbury.
The Vermont State Police were assisted on scene by the Salisbury Fire Department.
Aunchman was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Addison Criminal Division on July 13, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
