PITTSFORD, VT — A single-vehicle crash on West Creek Road on May 25, 2026, resulted in a DUI arrest.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks responded to the crash at approximately 7:37 p.m.
The operator was identified as Allison Burden, 35, of East Wallingford.
Burden’s 2010 Ford Escape exited the roadway and struck a utility pole, causing wires to fall across the roadway.
The roadway was closed for a significant amount of time while Green Mountain Power repaired the utility pole.
Burden was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries.
During the interaction with troopers, Burden displayed indicators of impairment.
Burden was arrested and processed for driving under the influence.
She was cited to appear at Vermont Superior Court – Rutland Criminal Division on August 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
