CLIFTON PARK, NY — A minor was arrested Wednesday on two counts of rape in the 1st degree and sexual abuse in the 1st degree, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
The charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred between June 29 and July 15, 2025.
The minor is accused of engaging in vaginal and oral sexual contact with the victim by forcible compulsion and of subjecting the victim to sexual contact by forcible compulsion.
The two counts of rape in the 1st degree are class B felonies.
The sexual abuse in the 1st degree charge is a class D felony.
The minor was arraigned in Saratoga County Family Court in front of the Honorable Michael J. Hartnett.
The minor was remanded to the Albany Secure Detention Center pending further proceedings in the Youth Part of the Saratoga County Supreme Court.
