ELLENVILLE, NY — A man wanted on a felony warrant was arrested at a village motel late Thursday night following a multi-agency operation.
Juwan Dolson, 29, of Middletown, was taken into custody at 11:30 p.m. at the Village Motel, room 41.
The Ellenville Police Department executed the arrest warrant with assistance from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Department Emergency Response Team, along with the sheriff’s department’s Uniform and Detective Division, Drone Unit and K9 Unit.
An off-duty City of Middletown detective spotted the suspect at approximately 8:30 p.m. while traveling through Ellenville and saw him walking toward the Village Motel, according to police.
The detective contacted the Ellenville Police Department, which confirmed the subject’s identity through further investigation.
Police said Dolson is a known gang member in Orange County who was on parole for his involvement in the 2017 murder of Corey White.
He was wanted on a charge of second-degree conspiracy, a felony.
Dolson was processed and turned over to the City of Middletown Police Department.
