WATERFORD, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a theft and trespassing incident that occurred early Friday morning on Vermont Route 18.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were notified of the incident at approximately 7 a.m. Friday.
Investigation revealed an unknown male trespassed onto a residence at approximately 1:24 a.m. and stole a child’s birthday card containing cash.
The investigation remains active.
