Woman sought in shooting in Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN, PA — Police are seeking a 20-year-old woman in connection with a shooting that occurred Monday evening.

Makayla N. Porcher is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and possession with intent to deliver, according to the Johnstown Police Department.

The shooting occurred at approximately 6:14 p.m. May 19 in the 300 block of Highland Avenue.

Porcher is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are warning the public not to approach Porcher if seen and to instead call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information about Porcher’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Johnstown Police Department at 814-472-2100 or the department’s tip line.

An arrest warrant was issued May 19 by Cambria County authorities.
