Woman arrested on trespass charge in Lower Makefield Township

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman was arrested after fleeing from police at a grocery store where she had been previously banned from entering.

Police responded to Giant Food Store in the 700 block of Stony Hill Road at 2:52 p.m. May 21, 2026, for a report of an unwanted person at the location.

Officers located the woman, who fled on foot and hid behind parked cars.

She was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.

The 45-year-old woman from Lower Makefield Township was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass.

FRAUD — A resident in the unit block of Black Rock Road reported at 3:14 p.m. May 21, 2026, that $10,000 was removed from their Charles Schwabb account without authorization.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD — A resident in the 300 block of Ramsey Road reported at 12:35 a.m. May 20, 2026, unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $78.

DUI ARREST — Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Taylorsville Road and Woodview Road at 4:32 p.m. May 20, 2026.

A 38-year-old man from Croydon, Pennsylvania, was arrested for driving under the influence.

RETAIL THEFT — Loss prevention at Kohl’s in the 1600 block of Big Oak Road reported at 11:24 a.m. May 19, 2026, that a woman removed $52.98 worth of merchandise without paying.

Police located a 27-year-old woman from Yardley Borough sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot.

She admitted to stealing merchandise.

Officers observed a glass bong, ceramic bowl and burnt marijuana on the floor of her vehicle.

She was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

DRUG ARREST — The general manager of Hampton Inn in the 1000 block of Stony Hill Road reported at 12:53 p.m. May 19, 2026, that guests were smoking drugs in their hotel room and refused to leave.

A 30-year-old woman from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, a 60-year-old man from Hopewell, New Jersey, and a 58-year-old man from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, were arrested for possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

FRAUD — A resident in the unit block of Berkley Drive reported at 4:38 p.m. May 19, 2026, receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be with the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department advising they missed a federal court date.

The caller said the victim needed to pay $700 to avoid arrest.

The victim was giving their credit card information when they lost power and the call disconnected.

RETAIL THEFT — Loss prevention at Wegmans in the 900 block of Vansant Drive reported at 9:02 p.m. May 19, 2026, that two women entered the store and removed $1,935.70 worth of merchandise without paying.

WANTED PERSON — Police on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle parked at Sunoco in the unit block of Oxford Valley Road at 12:25 a.m. May 18, 2026.

A 64-year-old man from Lower Makefield Township was arrested on an outstanding Bucks County warrant for failure to appear.

FRAUD — A resident in the 800 block of Summerville Way reported at 1:01 p.m. May 17, 2026, that they applied for a job on Indeed and were hired to label and ship packages.

They were supposed to receive a check for $3,300 for the work but never received payment.

After contacting the Better Business Bureau, they realized it was a scam.

THEFT — A resident in the 600 block of Tomlinson Lane reported at 7:07 p.m. May 16, 2026, observing two women on security camera removing packages from their porch.
