Multiple arrests reported in Broome County

BROOME COUNTY, NY — The Broome County Sheriff’s Office reported 14 arrests during the week of May 21.

John S. Aldrich Jr., 51, of Hallstead, Pennsylvania, was charged with assault in the 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor, following an assault investigation in the town of Binghamton.

Taylor D. Brown, 32, of Endicott, was charged with three counts of petit larceny, class A misdemeanors, following multiple larceny investigations in the town of Union.

Lauren K. Chinese, 36, of Greene, was charged with assault in the 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor, following an assault investigation in the town of Chenango.

Travis J. Dise, 31, of Binghamton, was charged with promoting prison contraband in the 1st degree, a class D felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor, following a contraband investigation in the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Spring A. Genovese, 47, of Binghamton, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 1st degree, a class E felony, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor, along with multiple traffic violations, following a traffic stop in the village of Endicott.

Eric K. Gleason, 40, was charged with failure to provide a photograph for sex offender registration, a class E felony, following a sex offender registration investigation in the town of Dickinson.

Sarah E. Jones, 37, of Binghamton, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor, following a narcotics investigation in the town of Fenton.

Brendan T. Laurie, 22, of Kirkwood, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 1st degree, a class E felony, driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, operating a motor vehicle with BAC greater than .08, a misdemeanor, and two counts of reckless driving, misdemeanors, along with multiple traffic violations following a traffic stop in the city of Binghamton.

Melissa J. Maas, 27, of Port Crane, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and obstructing governmental administration in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, along with multiple traffic violations, following a DWI investigation in the town of Chenango.

Anthony M. Pilotti, 35, of Binghamton, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, following a traffic stop in the city of Binghamton.

James G. Roberts, 30, of Binghamton, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 1st degree, a class E felony, driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and operating a motor vehicle with BAC greater than .08, a misdemeanor, along with multiple traffic violations, following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident in the town of Binghamton.

Gregory C. Slavin, 34, of Binghamton, was charged with two counts of promoting prison contraband in the 1st degree, class D felonies, and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, class A misdemeanors, following a contraband investigation in the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Joseph M. Tuosto, 36, of Endicott, was charged with strangulation in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, and harassment in the 2nd degree, a violation, following an investigation into a domestic incident in the town of Union.

Jay A. Voorhis Jr., 31, of the town of Chenango, was charged with driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction within 10 years, a class E felony, following a DWI investigation in the town of Chenango.
