YARDLEY BOROUGH, PA — Police arrested a man on drug and DUI charges after finding him passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle Monday night.
Officers responded to the 100 block of South Main Street at 10:45 p.m. for a report of a motor vehicle in a private driveway.
Police found a black Dodge SUV running and in reverse with the operator unconscious with his foot on the brake.
An investigation led to probable cause that the driver was under the influence of narcotics, according to the Yardley Borough Police Department.
The operator, a 35-year-old man from Philadelphia, was arrested and processed before being released.
The vehicle was impounded.
