FALMOUTH, ME — A dump truck collided with an SUV at the intersection of Falmouth Road and Allen Avenue Extension on May 19, 2026, injuring one motorist.
The Falmouth Police Department responded to the crash at 9:37 a.m.
An 83-year-old woman was extricated from her vehicle and transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
The crash required a temporary road closure between Falls Road and Falmouth Road while police investigated the scene and conducted crash reconstruction.
Falmouth Fire-EMS and the Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit assisted at the scene.
The roadway reopened shortly after 12 p.m.
