WEST EARL TOWNSHIP, PA — A 41-year-old man faces multiple felony charges after allegedly sending explicit images to juvenile males and soliciting them for sexual activities through social media.
Nathan L. Dissmore, of Ephrata, was arrested May 15 at his residence at 6:41 a.m. by West Earl Township Police.
The investigation began Feb. 9, 2026, when police received a report that an adult male had engaged in inappropriate communication with a juvenile male via Snapchat.
Detective Heather Halstead conducted interviews that led to the identification of additional juvenile victims, according to police.
During the conversations, Dissmore allegedly sent explicit images of himself to the juveniles and solicited them to engage in sexual activities, including requesting a video call, police said.
Dissmore is charged with four counts of disseminating explicit sexual material, two counts of unlawful contact with minors involving obscene and other sexual materials, two counts of corruption of minors, one count of unlawful contact with minors involving sexual offenses, one count of criminal solicitation to commit sexual abuse of children and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
District Judge Jonathan Heisse issued a warrant for Dissmore’s arrest and arraigned him May 15.
Bail was set at $50,000.
Dissmore was initially committed to Lancaster County Prison but has since been released on bail.
