PHILADELPHIA, PA — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an indecent assault in the city’s 26th District.
The incident occurred on May 13 at approximately 12:45 p.m. on the 2600 block of Collins Street.
According to police, the victim reported she was walking when the suspect approached her from behind and aggressively grabbed her.
The suspect then fled on foot, traveling southbound toward Huntingdon Street.
Police describe the suspect as a Black male between 30 and 40 years old with a medium build.
He was wearing all-black clothing, including a black coat with a fur-lined hood, and was carrying a crossbody bag.
Anyone who sees the suspect is urged not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.
