MIDDLEFIELD, NY — Otsego County sheriff’s deputies arrested Donald B. Lane, 54, of Oneonta on May 13 on three counts of aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate, an E felony, following an investigation into incidents at the Otsego County Correctional Facility.
Investigators said corrections staff reported that on two occasions Lane threw a jug containing his urine at corrections officers.
The investigation also found that Lane made multiple threats to throw other bodily fluids at corrections officers, authorities said.
Lane was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear in Town of Middlefield Court at a later date.
