PROSPECT PARK, NJ — A traffic stop for a stop sign violation led to the arrest of a motorist on an outstanding warrant Friday.
Officer Ballestas observed a black Volkswagen Jetta fail to stop at the stop sign at N 6th and Planten Avenue at approximately 3 p.m. May 8, 2026.
The driver was identified as Larry Fields.
Fields was arrested on an active criminal warrant with no bail issued by the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department.
He received a ticket for failure to stop at the stop sign.
Fields was turned over to the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department.
