STROUD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are investigating a hit and run crash that occurred at the intersection of Pocono Park Drive and West Main Street.
The Stroud Area Regional Police Department was dispatched to the scene at approximately 3:36 p.m. May 8, 2026.
The victim reported she was stopped at the stop sign on Pocono Park Drive at West Main Street when a silver sedan rear-ended her vehicle.
A man described as a Black male in his 20s with long curly hair exited the silver sedan and inspected the damage, according to police.
When the victim pulled off to the side of the road, the suspect fled westbound on West Main Street and was last seen traveling down Bridge Street.
Surveillance footage of the suspect vehicle was obtained from a nearby business, which confirmed the victim’s account, police said.
The Stroud Area Regional Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle and operator.
