LUNENBURG, VT — Two drivers face charges following a crash on May 8.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were notified of a crash in Lunenburg at 9:57 p.m.
Upon investigation, it was determined Shilo Walter, 48, of Dalton, New Hampshire, was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs.
Walter was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
Walter was issued a citation to appear in Essex County Superior Court – Criminal Division on July 14 at 8:30 a.m.
On May 10, troopers made contact with Robert Breen, 69, of Jefferson, New Hampshire, who was the operator of the second vehicle involved in the crash.
Investigation revealed Breen had left the scene of the crash on May 8 prior to troopers arriving.
Breen was issued a citation for negligent operation to appear in Essex County Superior Court – Criminal Division on July 14 at 8:30 a.m.
