DERBY, VT — Vermont State Police are searching for a North Carolina woman who failed to board her scheduled flight home earlier this week.
Stefani Cruz, 22, of Sanford, North Carolina, was reported missing on May 8 after family members contacted the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks.
Cruz was scheduled to travel back to North Carolina on May 6 but did not board her flight and has not been heard from since, according to police.
Initial investigation suggests concerns for Cruz’s welfare, police said.
Investigators believe she may be located in the Irasburg, Rutland or Addison County areas.
Cruz is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, 113 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
