WORCESTER, NY — A motorcyclist was injured after crashing into a utility pole on State Highway 7 on May 5, 2026.
New York State Police at Oneonta responded to the crash at approximately 8:04 p.m.
An investigation revealed that Jacob Sprague, 27, of Otsego, was operating a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle and traveling east on State Highway 7 when he exited the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a National Grid utility pole.
Sprague was assisted by civilians in the area until EMS arrived.
He was transported by Lifenet to Albany Medical Center for further treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
