Man arrested on felony charge in Corinth

CORINTH, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Monday on an arrest warrant issued by the Corinth Town Court.

Logan J. Haywood, 25, of Malta, was charged with aggravated family offense, a class E felony, and criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

The charges stem from an incident that reportedly occurred on April 18 at 3:30 a.m. on Center Street in the village of Corinth.

Haywood is accused of committing a specified offense under the statute having previously been convicted of a specified offense within the immediately preceding five years.

He is also accused of violating an order of protection by being in the protected person’s presence.

Haywood was arraigned before the Honorable Michael T. Woodcock in the Corinth Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings in that court.
