GALWAY, NY — A motorcyclist was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge following a single-vehicle crash Saturday night.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash at 9:18 p.m. on Parkis Mills Road.
Michael A. Irvine-McChesney, 23, of Milton, is accused of operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition.
He allegedly refused the chemical test.
The investigation revealed that Irvine-McChesney had driven his motorcycle off the roadway and became stuck in a ditch.
He declined medical attention and no other people or vehicles were involved.
Irvine-McChesney was also cited for refusing to take a prescreen breath test at the request of a police officer, operating an unregistered vehicle, moving from lane unsafely and speed not reasonable and prudent.
He was arraigned before the Honorable Timothy M. Brown in the Milton Town Court and released on his own recognizance pending proceedings in the Galway Town Court.
