RICHMOND, RI — A 65-year-old man was arrested Saturday on a vandalism charge following an investigation by the Gaming Enforcement Unit.
Gary Tavares, of Richmond, was taken into custody May 2, 2026, according to the Rhode Island Detective Bureau.
Tavares was charged with one count of vandalism.
He was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace before being released.
Tavares is scheduled to appear in Third Division District Court at a later date.
