MORRISTOWN, NY — Troopers responded to State Route 12 for a tractor-trailer tanker rollover on April 30, 2026, at approximately 8:47 a.m.
Upon arrival, troopers observed a white 2020 Kenworth T880 tanker on the northern shoulder.
An investigation determined that the operator of the tractor-trailer, identified as Jason M. Osgood, 46, of Potsdam, New York, was traveling southwest on State Route 12 when he failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of the vehicle, and exited the roadway onto the northern shoulder.
Osgood was medically evacuated by a local rescue department and transported to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Osgood was issued a vehicle and traffic ticket returnable to the Town of Morristown Court at a later date in May.
