LEWISTON, ME — A 22-year-old Turner man has been charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon following a reported shooting Tuesday afternoon.
Nikolas Rancourt was taken into custody and is being held at the Androscoggin County Jail on a Class C charge.
Lewiston Police responded to a reported shooting in the area of 235 Bartlett Street at 2:10 p.m.
Officers quickly secured the scene and took a suspect into custody within minutes.
A firearm was recovered at the scene.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Police confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public.
