NORTH BABYLON, NY — The Deer Park Volunteer Fire Department responded to a mutual aid call for a residential structure fire Thursday morning.
The department was activated at 5:57 a.m. to assist the North Babylon Fire Company with a tower ladder assignment.
Chief of Department Macaluso, Assistant Chief Jackson and Tower Ladder 1-4-10 responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew of Tower Ladder 1-4-10 was immediately assigned to assist with victim searches inside the structure.
Deer Park units operated on scene for approximately one and a half hours before being released by North Babylon Command.
