St. Johnsbury woman arrested multiple times in week

ST. JOHNSBURY, VT — The St. Johnsbury Police Department made 11 arrests during the week of April 20 to April 26, 2026, according to a department news release.

Harmony Smith of St. Johnsbury was arrested or charged four separate times during the week-long period.

On April 20, Smith was charged with retail theft and unlawful mischief and cited to appear July 27 in Caledonia County Court.

On April 22, Smith was charged with six counts of violations of conditions of release and unlawful trespass and cited to appear April 27 in Caledonia County Court.

On April 23, Smith was arrested for assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and violations of conditions of release.

She was lodged at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail and cited to appear April 24 in Caledonia County Court.

Cheyenne Spreadbury of St. Johnsbury was charged April 21 with unlawful trespass and cited to appear Sept. 21 in Caledonia County Court.

David Chase of Burke was charged April 22 with simple assault and cited to appear June 1 in Caledonia County Court.

Luis Dicierdo of Lyndon was charged April 22 with simple assault and cited to appear June 1 in Caledonia County Court.

Tyler Gambone of Sicklerville, New Jersey, was charged April 22 with retail theft and cited to appear July 20 in Caledonia County Court.

Anthony Speed of St. Johnsbury was charged April 24 with a sex offender registry violation and cited to appear April 24 in Caledonia County Court.

Tristian Garcia of St. Johnsbury was charged April 24 with grand larceny and cited to appear April 27 in Caledonia County Court.

James McChesney of St. Johnsbury was charged April 25 with disorderly conduct and cited to appear Sept. 28 in Caledonia County Court.

Ashley Williams of St. Johnsbury was arrested April 26 on an outstanding in-state warrant.

She was lodged at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility on lack of $200 bail and cited to appear April 27 in Caledonia County Court.

The department responded to 98 additional calls for service during the week, including 28 traffic stops, 19 sex offender registry compliance checks and 11 house checks.
