RANDOLPH, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a report of an assault on Vermont Route 12 at approximately 9:54 p.m. April 27.
Police determined Nathan Cassinell, 49, of Randolph, had assaulted a household member, according to authorities.
The victim was a 37-year-old Randolph resident.
Cassinell was arrested and transported to the state police barracks in Royalton.
He was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail.
Cassinell is scheduled to appear in Orange County Criminal Court at 12:30 p.m. April 28.
