Police seek help locating missing juvenile in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Jovan James Krause-Depa, who was reported missing by his mother on April 27.

According to police, Jovan, also known as “JJ,” was last seen at his residence on the 1600 block of Lewis Street.

He is known to frequent Hissey Playground as well as the area around Frankford Avenue and East Monmouth Street.

Jovan is described as a Black male, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 127 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a Philadelphia Eagles hoodie, black pants, and yellow and green sneakers.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact East Detectives at 215-686-3243 or call 911.
