Two injured in Mayfield crash

MAYFIELD, NY — Emergency crews responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident with possible injuries on State Highway 30 at Sandhill Road on Sunday, April 26, at 11:59 a.m.

The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company, Lake Valley EMS, and police units arrived on scene following reports of the crash.

Fire police from Broadalbin-Kennyetto managed traffic in the area while rescue operations were underway.

A LifeNet medical helicopter was requested, and a landing zone was established off State Highway 30 in Vail Mills.

LifeNet 72 was dispatched, and one patient was transported to an emergency medical facility.

The condition of the patients was not immediately available.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
