Man charged with fleeing police in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, PA — Police arrested a motorcyclist who allegedly attempted to flee from officers during a response to a large gathering of reckless motorcycles.

Patrol officers with the Allentown Police Department responded to the 1800 block of South 4th Street at approximately 10:17 p.m. Thursday for a report of a large gathering of reckless motorcycles.

Upon arrival, officers attempted to stop an unregistered motorcycle.

The motorcycle attempted to flee and was subsequently stopped by officers.

Nayden Rodriguez, 21, of Bethlehem, was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, registration and certificate of title required, drivers required to be licensed, and required equipment for motorcycle riders.
