CANISTEO, NY — A 45-year-old man was arrested following a domestic disturbance on Charlie Drive on April 5, 2026.
Severo P. Kenny, of Canisteo, was taken into custody after police responded to a residence at approximately 3:55 p.m.
Police allege Kenny violated a court order of protection and made physical contact with the victim during the disturbance.
A child under the age of 17 was present during the incident, according to police.
Kenny was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, harassment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was processed at the Canisteo Police Department and transported to the Steuben County Jail pending CAP arraignment.
Kenny is scheduled to appear in Canisteo Village Court.
The New York State Police assisted in the investigation.
