HANCOCK, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a local man on a domestic assault charge April 20, 2026.
Troopers from the Royalton Barracks were notified at approximately 11:02 a.m. of an assault that had occurred the previous day in Hancock.
Investigation revealed that David Forward, 59, of Hancock, had assaulted a household member, police said.
Forward was placed under arrest without incident and was processed at the Royalton Barracks.
He was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility on $750 bail.
Forward was issued a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court – Criminal Division on April 21, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
