WALTON, NY — A Sidney Center man faces charges after a vehicle fire on Houck Mountain Road.
Joshua Ellis, 36, of Sidney Center, was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and unlicensed operation.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the vehicle fire and discovered during their investigation that Ellis’ driving privileges were suspended due to failure to answer multiple summonses.
Ellis was released on an appearance ticket and traffic summons.
He is scheduled to appear in Walton Town Court at a later date.
