Four arrested in drug, weapons raid in Cheektowaga, Buffalo

CHEEKTOWAGA, NY — State Police Troop A, the Cheektowaga Police Department and the Buffalo Police Department executed search warrants at a residence on Gierlach Street in the town of Cheektowaga and a residence on East Delevan Avenue in the city of Buffalo on April 16, 2026, as part of an investigation into drug trafficking.

A total of four people were arrested.

Angela R. Vanway, 44, of Cheektowaga, was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree, a class A-II felony, and three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, a class B felony.

Joshua T. Pike, 41, of Cheektowaga, was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, a class B felony, and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th degree, a class C felony.

Raul F. Harrison, 39, of Buffalo, was charged with eight counts of criminal possession of a weapon 2nd degree, a class C felony; 21 counts of criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree, a class D felony; criminal possession of a firearm, a class E felony; and failure to safely store firearms 1st degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Erik K. Williams, 41, of Buffalo, was charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree, a class A-II felony, and four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, a class B felony.

During the execution of the two search warrants, police seized 423.1 grams of methamphetamine, 76.8 grams of cocaine, 24.8 grams of crack cocaine and 84.9 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, along with a digital scale.

In addition, police seized eight illegally possessed firearms including seven assault weapons and one ghost gun pistol; 20 high-capacity magazines, a firearm suppressor, one auto sear, body armor and ammunition.

All four defendants were held pending arraignment.
