GENEVA, NY — A 30-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on charges of making threats against police officers.
Javon Lavell Jackson, of Geneva, was arrested at approximately 4:30 p.m. April 15 by members of the City of Geneva Police Department’s Road Patrol Division.
Jackson faces two counts of aggravated harassment in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Police said the arrest stems from an incident that occurred April 14, when Jackson allegedly called the Geneva Police Department on two separate occasions and threatened to cause physical harm to all members of the department.
Jackson was processed at the Geneva Police Department and transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
He was released without bail and will reappear at the City of Geneva Criminal Court at a later date.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact the Geneva Police Department at 315-828-6771.
