Man arrested on stolen property charge in Stephentown

STEPHENTOWN, NY — State Police arrested a Delmar man on a felony charge of criminal possession of stolen property.

Kristopher R. Bradford, 44, of Delmar, was arrested March 11 on a warrant for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 2nd, a class C felony.

The continued investigation determined Bradford also reportedly resided at the location where the stolen property was located.

Bradford was produced from the Washington County Correctional Facility where he was being held on an unrelated charge.

He was transported to State Police Sand Lake for processing and then arraigned at Stephentown Town Court.

Bradford was returned to the custody of the Washington County Correctional Facility.

Bradford’s arrest is connected to an investigation that began Sept. 25, 2025, when investigators were contacted by the Lee Police Department in Massachusetts requesting assistance in locating property that had been reportedly stolen from their jurisdiction.

The State Police investigation discovered multiple stolen motorcycles, a stolen all-terrain vehicle, a stolen trailer and stolen solar equipment on a property in Stephentown where multiple people were residing.

The stolen property was valued at over $50,000.

Natasha C. Ryan, 36, of Stephentown, was arrested Feb. 18 for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 2nd, a class C felony, in connection with the same investigation.

Ryan was located and arrested in Bethlehem.

She was transported to State Police Schodack for processing, then arraigned at Stephentown Town Court, where she was released on her own recognizance.

Ryan was then turned over to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office due to an active arrest warrant.
