Man arrested on theft charge in Ephrata

EPHRATA, PA — Police have arrested a man in connection with the theft of electrical and plumbing equipment from a business.

Patrick Adams, 43, of Ephrata, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and criminal trespass following an investigation into the March 19 incident.

Police said the theft occurred at a business in the 300 block of Railroad Avenue in Ephrata Borough.

Surveillance video provided evidence linking Adams to the crime, according to police.

The stolen equipment was valued at $2,450.

Adams was taken into custody on April 3 and committed to Lancaster County Prison.
