CLAIRTON, PA — A man was shot in the shoulder during a verbal argument Tuesday evening and is in stable condition at a local hospital.
County 9-1-1 was notified of the shooting at 6:50 p.m. in the 800 block of Vankirk Street.
First responders found several shell casings in the street.
A short time later, an adult male gunshot victim arrived by private means at a local hospital.
Preliminary information shows the victim was engaged in a verbal argument with another person when the shooting occurred.
The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating.
