TANNERSVILLE, PA — A 25-year-old man has been charged with retail theft following an incident at a liquor store on Route 611.
Officers from the Pocono Township Police Department responded to a theft complaint at Fine Wine & Good Spirits, located at 2838 Route 611, at approximately 11:25 a.m. on April 6, 2026.
Following an investigation, police determined that $63.99 worth of merchandise was stolen.
Jorge Alberto Chavez, of Pocono Summit, was identified as the suspect.
Chavez was charged with retail theft, a second-degree misdemeanor.
He was arrested on April 11, 2026.
