BURLINGTON, NJ — Police investigated incidents at all four Burlington City Public Schools on Tuesday morning.
The Burlington City Police Department said students and staff at Wilbur Watts, Samuel Smith and Captain James Lawrence schools were sheltered and evacuated out of an abundance of caution.
The high school remained on a delayed opening during the investigation.
Police said all schools have been deemed safe and all students and staff are safe.
Normal operations were set to resume.
The origin of the incidents remains under investigation.
Police asked the public to avoid the area during the investigation and follow all instructions from officers on scene.
