JAMESTOWN, NY — Officers responded to the southwest side of the city April 10, 2026, for a report of a woman screaming for help.
Police arrived at the scene at about 8 p.m.
Through investigation, officers discovered Dustin D. Smouse damaged a quantity of household items during a domestic dispute.
The dispute involved someone Smouse has a no offensive contact order of protection with.
Smouse was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
He was charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree and criminal contempt in the second degree.
Smouse was held in the city jail pending arraignment.
