Man arrested on menacing charge in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Officers responded to a report of a disorderly person at around 8:02 p.m. April 13, 2026.

Through investigation, police determined Kevin Lopez threw frying grease in the kitchen and on the floors.

Lopez then threatened the victim with a dangerous instrument, according to police.

Lopez was arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

He is being held pending arraignment on charges of second-degree menacing, third-degree criminal tampering and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
