LITTLE VALLEY, NY — An inmate at the Cattaraugus County Jail has been arrested after allegedly possessing a weapon in his cell.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau reports that Andre W. Shaw was found with a wooden shank in his cell on April 13 at approximately 12:45 p.m.
Shaw was arraigned in the Town of Little Valley Court on April 14 for Promoting Prison Contraband in the First Degree.
He was remanded back to the Cattaraugus County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
