CHENANGO, NY — Four people are facing felony drug charges following the execution of a search warrant in the Town of Chenango.
On April 10, 2026, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force, with assistance from the Southern Tier SWAT Team, executed a narcotics search warrant at 133 W. Chenango Rd.
During a search of the residence, investigators located approximately 19 grams of methamphetamine, a quantity of fentanyl, Suboxone strips, illegal steroids, narcotics packaging material and a digital scale.
Brett J. Poyer, 37, of Chenango, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor; and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Cassandra F. Angulas, 36, of Chenango, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor; and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Jack E. Langland, 45, of Endicott, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor; and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Daisy A. Odell, 37, of Wilesyville, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor; and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force is comprised of members of the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, the Binghamton Police Department, the Johnson City Police Department and the Endicott Police Department.
The task force was assisted by the Southern Tier SWAT team, the Broome County Strategic Response Group and the BCSO Highway Patrol Division.
