Motorcyclist killed in crash in Beacon

BEACON, NY — A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Matteawan Road near Deer Run on April 13, 2026.

The Beacon Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 2:42 p.m.

The driver, a 33-year-old man from Gardiner, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The roadway has been fully reopened.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office assisted with accident reconstruction.

Staff from Fishkill Correctional Facility assisted with securing the scene.
