PELHAM, NH — Police evacuated businesses and closed a shopping plaza after receiving a bomb threat at a post office on April 12, 2026.
Pelham Police Dispatch received a report at approximately 7:30 p.m. of a bomb located in the mailbox in front of the post office in the plaza at 150 Bridge Street.
The patrol shift evacuated open businesses out of an abundance of caution, and the shopping plaza was closed to the public.
The New Hampshire State Police Bomb Squad, Nashua Police Department Bomb Squad and the United States Postal Inspection Service responded to the scene.
The area was cleared and no bombs or explosives were located.
The shopping plaza was fully reopened at approximately 10 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
