NEW CASTLE, PA — A 63-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested Saturday in connection with an arson incident that occurred last October.
Christopher A. Kohlmetz was taken into custody by the New Castle Police Department on April 11.
The incident took place on Oct. 9, 2025, at 219 N Beaver St.
A warrant for Kohlmetz’s arrest was issued Oct. 10, 2025, by Honorable Melissa A. Amodie.
Kohlmetz faces charges of arson and aggravated assault.
The warrant was issued under docket number CR563-2025.
