GREAT VALLEY, NY — Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 86 that resulted in the arrest of two people on drug charges.
Timothy J. Slater, 60, of Olean, and Nealie A. Linsler, 50, of Olean, were arrested April 11 at 1:33 a.m. following the traffic stop in the Town of Great Valley.
Deputies assigned to the Seneca Nation Allegany Territory conducted the stop.
K9 Lex was deployed to perform an open-air search on the vehicle.
The search led to the discovery of over 15 grams of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.
Linsler was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and released with an appearance ticket.
Slater was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd and processed.
He was arraigned in the Town of Ellicottville Court where he was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.
