CRANSTON, RI — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested a Cranston man on a felony assault warrant Friday morning.
Andre L. Wilkinson, 47, of Cranston, was taken into custody at approximately 6 a.m. April 10 on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Warwick Police Department.
Wilkinson faces charges of felony assault and disorderly conduct.
The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Wilkinson was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Warwick Police Department on scene.

Man arrested as fugitive from justice in Cranston

CRANSTON, RI — The ACI Investigations Unit arrested a Providence man as a fugitive from justice from Massachusetts on Friday.
Jean Rodriguez, 32, of Providence, was arrested April 10 following an investigation conducted by the Adult Correctional Institutions Records and Identification Department and the ACI Investigations Unit.
Rodriguez was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he agreed to waive extradition proceedings back to Massachusetts.
He was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff’s Department.
